Taking a photograph is simple. You see what you want to shoot and click the shutter. But photographs that resonate have to have elements. Light, contrast, subject, magic and sometimes a cast and crew of twenty behind me.

Watching. As years of history and experiences and relationships, successes and challenges and dreams of the ‘perfect picture’ are trained into a single second as I focus the lens.

I did not get here alone. Nor do I create alone. Opportunities, collaboration and trust have been on my side.

Light and focus are important. But it’s the elements of love, connection and ability to see, truly see, that are the most important to me.
