What makes this piece extra, extraordinary is the hand woven vest, sleeve and back embroidery from an upcycled Guatemalan huipil, which gives the coat an added textile explosion of a rainbow of color, depth and culture.  One can find vertical geometric motifs along with bird talons and gorgeous floral embroidery woven throughout.  The sophistication of the embroidery gives this piece a primary-color Gustav Klimt vibe.  Fully lined in a pleasing turquoise and blue bandhani print from our beloved Kutch cotton.  Loads of love, hand-work, texture and color make this one-of-a-kind unique beauty all the more special.  2 side pockets, zip closure.  A red 5.5" crotched ball with blue seed beads and blue silk tassel on the zip, plus more vertical yellow, blue, red stripes from the Guatemalen huipil  punctuate the hem edge.
