The new xSystem 3.0 includes firmware and hardware updates creating a more accurate and efficient system. When sleeping the xSystem 3.0 draws 26 times less current than the xSystem 2.0 and it also uses 4% less power when activated. Not only using less power than its predecessor, it can also be wired to a switched connection, without losing the user settings when the ignition is off. This means customers can integrate the xSystem 3.0 with their existing accessory managers and it also means the xSystem 3.0 can be used on electric motorcycles with a 12 V circuit.
