The electronic components on the E-Torque are superior. You have a high-torque 350W rear hub motor, paired with a 36V/12.5Ah downtube-integrated lithium-ion battery with DLG 18650 cells.  

The motor and battery are controlled by a 5-level pedal assist system (PAS) with a bottom bracket-integrated torque sensor; the E-Torque also features a Class 2 thumb throttle, so you can ride without pedaling at all! 

In addition, there is a 7 speed Shimano gear system, so the E-Torque can be ridden like a conventional bike.  These drive modes can be used in conjunction with each other, so you can find the sweet spot for every part of your ride.
