TSPROF Quick fillet clamps with special release mechanism

TSPROF Quick fillet clamps with a quick-release mechanism provide reliable blade fixation and expand the possibilities of sharpening complex blade geometries (thin spine, narrow blade) at low angles. The knife clamping takes just one movement¹ and no longer requires a screwdriver. It is a perfect solution for chefs and mass knife sharpening.

Speed

The quick release mechanism allows to clamp knives up to 4 mm thick twice as fast². The possibility of quick release of the clamp makes knife positioning much easier.

Convenience

No more screwdrivers! A locking lever is all you need to clamp a knife. To clamp knives of different thicknesses, simply adjust the distance between the clamp jaws using the lever. 

The ergonomic design of the clamping lever provides a high сlamping force with a light pressure (applying a force of 1.2 kg will result in a clamping force of 19 kg). The lever has rounded edges and a convenient size.

Precise machining

The design of TSPROF Quick clamps is stress calculated using the finite element method. The calculation of material thickness and structural elements provides a uniform stress distribution along the entire clamp length and, as a consequence, uniform closing of the clamp jaws.

Quick clamps' design also addresses the increased requirements for wear resistance and friction force in the threaded connection, which is why these clamps feature a brass nut with increased³ wear resistance.

Safety

Most injuries during sharpening occur during hand movements in the work area, including when clamping and removing the knife. The new clamping solution reduces the number of hand movements in the danger zone and allows you to clamp the knife and remove it from the clamps even using just one hand.

Durability

To reduce the wear of the mating parts, the clamping lever and its seat in the clamp's body have the same rounding radius. Thanks to this, the clamping lever “glides” on the clamp surface even during thickness adjustment, even under heavy load, thus maintaining its original appearance for a long time. The clamp and lever are made of high-strength aircraft-grade aluminum alloy.
