This charming piece features a rotating mount, with one side displaying a smooth, polished gold surface. With a gentle turn, it reveals a finely carved oval carnelian intaglio. The carnelian has been hand engraved with a dove sat on top of a heart a symbol of enduring love. The warm, translucent orange tones of the stone glow beautifully in the light.

Encircling the spinner is an intricately decorated floral border showing the Georgian era’s love of refined ornamentation and extra hidden details.
