OSRAM HALOSTAR STARLITE 20W Halogen Capsule Bulb

Introducing the OSRAM Halostar Starlite, this Halogen Capsule bulb has a GY6.35 fitting for a lamp base. The dual pin arrangement allows for a quick replacement and install. The Starlite 2000 is an incredibly small capsule bulb and a wealth of qualities including a high colour rendering index, this is great for environments you need good colour identification. Suitable for use with a dimmer switch, due to a dimmable function to get the optimal lighting with this halogen bulb. Compared to incandescent bulbs the Osram Halostar has improved energy efficiency with crisp light output and an enhanced average lifetime of up to 2000 hours.

Can this bulb be used in a car?

You would have to check the Car Manufacturers specifications in your handbook. These tend to be used in low voltage light units.

Can this be used in a light fitting that specifies a lower wattage capsule bulb?

Yes, however it is not advised as it doesn't produce a brighter light. Using a higher wattage bulb compared to the light fitting can create a fire hazard.
