Being offered for sale is the antique SMALL-SIZE (see below for dimensions), DOUBLE-SIDED, HARDWOOD-FRAMED (American Black Walnut is our best guess) SLATE CHALKBOARD by unknown maker (no visible maker's mark(s)), from circa the late 19th or early 20th century (best guess...possibly a little older), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. CONDITION NOTES:

Good/VG- antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear (scuffs, scratches, stains, dings, dents, etc.) throughout but NO breaks or repairs. Structurally solid & strong. There's a small splintering piece along edge at one side (clearly visible in the last 3 pics), which unless glued, is in constant danger of being damaged further (we leave this decision up to you). We did NOT try to remove any of the large stains, which may or may not come off with a thorough cleaning (again, we leave this up to you). Features superb, genuine patina throughout. See pics.

Measures 14-3/4" wide x 10-7/8" tall, overall at outer edge x 1/2" thick. Chalkboard surface is 12" wide x 8-1/8" tall, same at each side. Weighs 2 lbs. 2.0 oz..
