This work was made out of inspiration by the cultural and historical significance of the Eastern Docklands and the extraordinary resulting shape. The variety of water, peninsulas and parks makes this work stand out.

The Eastern Docklands of Amsterdam, once busy with ships and trade, have been transformed into a modern neighborhood with interesting architecture. Built in the late 1800s, these docks used to be all about industry. But now, thanks to architects like Jo Coenen, they've become a mix of old and new. Buildings like Silodam and the Python Bridge show off this mix. Today, the Eastern Docklands are a great place to live, with homes, parks, and businesses. It's a great example of how Amsterdam keeps its history alive while making room for new ideas.
