We had a hard time shooting photos of this one as everyone at the beach wanted to stop to compliment it. The glow of the wood grain is absolutely amazing, almost surreal looking.

The top deck is made of reclaimed redwood and Doug fir and is totally different from the bottom. The bottom deck features a sun burst made of reclaimed redwood from old trellises and Douglas fir offcuts from a local cabinet shop. The “water” is curly redwood that was reclaimed from a local source. The nose and tail also have abalone inlays, and the rails are made of oak cork. It's glassed with Entropy Bio Resin and 4-ounce fiberglass cloth. 

Like all Ventana boards, this is hollow, lightweight and will ride as great as it looks. If you choose to display it, given the uniqueness of each side, it's like two art pieces in one.
