The Rohde & Schwarz NGA100 Power Supply Series is a family of linear, compact, and easy-to-use DC power supplies offered in four models: the single-channel NGA101 and NGA141, and the two-channel NGA102 and NGA142. All models feature high readback accuracy together with a low-current measurement range for demanding measurements, positioning the series as a versatile bench power supply line.
Features such as data logging, arbitrary waveform generation, built-in statistics, and remote sensing make the NGA100 supplies well suited to a range of bench applications. With several remote interfaces including USB and Ethernet, the series is also intended for automated test environments.
ValueTronics supplies this instrument from our own 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, where we stock and hold our inventory. Operating in test and measurement since 1992, ValueTronics pairs deep instrument expertise with the ability to match the right unit and condition to your application.
Rohde & Schwarz is an independent, privately held electronics group founded more than 80 years ago and headquartered in Munich, Germany. The company has operated under the Rohde & Schwarz name throughout its history, with no major corporate rebranding or acquisition changing its identity.
The R&S®NGA100 series comprises four linear power supply models that share a common platform but differ in channel count and output range. The single-channel NGA101 and NGA141 and the two-channel NGA102 and NGA142 all provide high readback accuracy, a low-current measurement range, and the same full-featured set of bench and automation capabilities.
Across the family, each output is rated for up to 40 W, and every model carries the series' linear output design, FlexPower operation, data logging, and protection functions. The choice between models comes down to how many independent outputs are needed and whether the application calls for a higher-voltage or higher-current output.
Each new model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the model that matches your required channel count and output range, then choose the listing that fits your budget and procurement needs.
The clearest differences across the family are output range and channel count. The NGA101 and NGA102 provide up to 35 V and 6 A per channel, while the NGA141 and NGA142 provide up to 100 V and 2 A per channel. The NGA101 and NGA141 are single-output instruments rated at 40 W total, and the NGA102 and NGA142 are two-output instruments rated at 80 W total with 40 W per channel.
On the two-channel models, channel fusion extends the usable range: the NGA102 reaches up to 70 V in series or 12 A in parallel, and the NGA142 reaches up to 200 V in series or 4 A in parallel. Two-channel models also add independent floating channels, tracking, and the FuseLink function. See the comparison table below for the per-model voltage, current, power, and feature details.

|---|---|---|---|
| NGA141 | 0 V to 100 V | 2 A | 40 W |

Important: The 4-bit digital trigger I/O requires the R&S®NGA-K103 option, and wireless LAN remote control requires the R&S®NGA-K102 option.
Important: The digital trigger I/O function (4-bit digital in/out interface) requires the optional R&S®NGA-K103 option to be activated; it is not enabled on the base unit by default.
Important: The wireless LAN (WLAN) interface is an option (R&S®NGA-K102) activated by a keycode and is not included as standard.
Important: Channel fusion is available only on the two-channel models (R&S®NGA102 and R&S®NGA142): in serial mode the outputs are connected internally, while parallel mode requires external wiring.
Important: When channel fusion is active, the following functions are restricted: EasyRamp, EasyArb, low-current measurement range, remote sensing and digital I/O.
Important: Each rackmount frame (R&S®HZN96) can hold up to two R&S®NGA100 power supplies.
Recommended pairing: the R&S®HZN96 19-inch rack adapter (2 HU) integrates up to two NGA100 supplies into a test rack.
