That combination makes Sunday River a tempting destination for anyone looking to get away to a ski resort for the weekend, or even longer. And Sunday River makes the most of that terrain with fourteen lifts, including a hybrid “chondola” that combines a chairlift and gondola. These lifts serve eight distinct peaks, each with its own terrain and personality.
