Bear prints have always inspired us. The first linocut print we bought, a bear from Art in Action at Waterperry Gardens ten years ago, has been hanging in our home ever since. We named it George, and it’s likely influenced our own work over the years.

Over two years ago, we created a series of bear prints, including our ‘Cosy Morning’ print. These anthropomorphic bears were later joined by Gatsby, a mischievous corgi who eventually became part of our logo.

We were excited to experiment with a range of pastel-coloured relief inks, and in particular, the pale violet seemed perfect for our ‘not-so-spooky’ bat jumper print.

This is an updated version and varied edition, with a different colour experimentation on the hat and printed onto heavier paper than our initial run.
