The G2 throttle cam system allows you to fine-tune your hand movement/rotation to match the action occurring on the carburetor/throttle body. How can you expect one throttle ratio to work for all riders? Beginner? Expert? YZ125? KTM450? Sand track? Tight wood? The throttle cam system allows riders to work despite these variables You can adjust the throttle cam. The system includes a stock ratio cam and two progressive cams that incorporate a nonlinear ratio of hand throttle rotation and carburetor or throttle body opening. The "pulley" or "cam" pulls on the throttle cable as the rider rotates the grip/tube. By changing the traditional circular cam, we have significantly improved control. The throttle cam system has a cam option with a reduced radius for the first 1/2 of the throttle rotation, which must be rotated a little farther to achieve the same carburetor or throttle body opening position as the stock throttle. This slightly longer pull makes a big difference in rider control once the power is on. This system has “100CAM” – same as stock “200CAM” – 10% smaller than stock and “400CAM” – 20% smaller than stock. The 200CAM and 400CAM radii increase or “ramp up” to stock size at ½ throttle and maintain the overall rotation required to reach full throttle at or near stock rotation. Machined in the USA from 6061 aluminum. Self-lubricating Delrin bushings on each end of the tube provide an ultra-smooth feel that won't rust like bearing throttles.
