70% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier from a Hampshire vineyard. Blend of 23 reserve wines. Three years on lees, dosage 9 g/l. Tasted from magnum.  Coppery pink. It's ageing beautifully, especially in magnum; the aromas have become creamier, richer, moving from fresh strawberries to apricot tarte Tatin. Baked blood oranges and sweet citrus-suffused redcurrant fruit fan out in the mouth, but respond to drawstrings of nutmeg and allspice, which tighten up the rounded sweetness and generosity of fruit into a chalk-lined, focused, roasted-chestnut finish.
