Mold, Simon (1957-)
Description:
Simon Mould was born in England in 1957. A choral musician who sang in choirs from an early age, Mould has written many familiar religious works that have been widely performed in the U.K. and elsewhere. This album includes the Cantata for Lent. The work depicts the period from Jesus' entry into Jerusalem to his Passion and death with profound music, providing a series of heartrending scenes such as the tense scene in Gethsemane and the sorrowful farewell duet between Mary and Jesus.
