I think this old toy has a great look to it just sitting on a shelf, but most fun is to tie a string to it, or just give it a push, to set the pair of figures spinning. It's not fragile in the least, so would be a good one to give to the kids to keep themselves amused, and I must say that I have not yet grown tired of seeing these two spin, either! Made by The Toy Tinkers, Evanston, Illinois, c. 1920s-30s--and I love how the turned wooden parts from which the figures are composed are clearly functional knobs and handles.
Dimensions: 7 1/2" t x 7" w x 8 1/4" l. Very good condition, rolls along and spins very smoothly. Video clip shows how they twirl!
