These can be safely mounted directly on the faceplate and individually aligned. The handlebar does not have to be removed or loosened to mount the adapter. With the handlebar mounted, the adapter is simply pushed into the SDS faceplate from the outside and secured in the desired position with a clamping bolt. This means that the bottle cage, light, GPS and other accessories can be placed centrally on the handlebar, individually or in combination.
