Some little beasties come with a story.

The process of hand building and firing ceramics can be unpredictable, and minor imperfections like glaze inconsistencies, hairlines cracks and chips can sometimes occur. We feel these inconsistencies aren’t reason for total abandonment. We know many collectors agree, and choose to celebrate the concept of beautiful imperfections. Letting the philosophy guide us, we have mindfully mended and intentionally highlighted each using an assortment of materials. Rice paper, gold leaf, cotton cord and rawhide are utilized to accentuate the flaw, adding a unique twist and creating a charming new story to be cherished.
