This is an unmatched but closely related pair of Chinese porcelain ‘Kitchen Ming’ dishes, hand-painted in underglaze blue with stylised flowerheads at their centers and loop and dot borders. These signed pieces date to sometime between the 17th and 19th century. The larger piece is a footed plate and the smaller is a shallow bowl. So pretty, and great for serving or holding little things.
The plate has one small crack near the center, as documented. Otherwise these are in excellent antique condition. The larger measures 5 5/8" in diameter x 7/8" tall. The smaller measures 3 5/8" in diameter and 1 1/16" tall.
