to kick off our gtsc autumn, we’re going alllll the way back to the basics with a night of introductory mahjong — in partnership with one of New York’s most iconic Asian community organizers, Welcome to Chinatown 📖🔎🀄️💚

when: tuesday, sept 2 @ 7–10 pm

join us for one of two intro to mahjong sessions (7pm or 8pm), where our gtsc teachers will run you through a complete group lesson on basic Hong Kong mahjong. then, stay to exercise your new playing chops (until we get kicked out at 10pm) with snacks & drinks sponsored by our friends at Oddball, Sanzo, and Lunar 💫

this event is a fundraiser benefitting Welcome to Chinatown, with 33% ticket proceeds donated to supporting their Small Business Innovation Hub, which provides programming, technical assistance, and pathways to long-term sustainability to small businesses just like gtsc 💚
