It use an aluminium ferrule that is crimped to the hose by a swaging machine. It gives a fast, a reliable, leak free connection. The swivel nut features an embedded locking pin to secure the fitting in place. You can only use this fitting with braided hose that has a rubber inner, not PTFE. Compatible with our HH 10 * braided hose range. Manufactured from lightweight 6061
