1) There are over 136 species of Agave. For tequila to be deemed truly ‘premium’ it must be comprised of 100% of the Blue Weber Agave species.

2) Volcanic soil enriches agave with silica & potassium, crucial for its growth, imparting the tequila with a signature minerality, unique richness, and a complex flavor profile.

3) Día de los Muertos, a vibrant celebration honoring the deceased, intertwines deeply with the cultural heritage of tequila. 4) If the Tequila bottle label does not state that it’s made with 100% Blue Agave, then, by default, that tequila is a mixto (made with a minimum of 51% Blue Agave).

6) Tequila goes bad with time! Generally, you have up to one year from bottling before both oxidation and evaporation diminish the quality of the tequila and destroy the delicate Agave flavor profile.
