Our unique passenger seat on the market offers a high level of ergonomics, cushioning, and—most importantly—size, on par with modern, high-quality rider seats. The shape of the cover, the intricate seam design, and the handcrafted finish by our upholsterers create a look that blends seamlessly with the BMW R 1300 GS, despite its generous 70 mm width increase compared to the stock seat. At the same time, the significantly larger seating surface reduces pressure, providing noticeably greater comfort.

Why do we do this?
Quite simply, because many customers ask for it. Especially those who would love to enjoy motorcycle touring together but find that the stock passenger seats are only good for short trips to the local café, rather than long journeys.

A key feature of our passenger seat is the integrated support contour in the front section, providing extra stability when braking. This integration allows for a relaxed yet active riding experience. And, without a doubt, relaxed sitting increases active safety. Our ThermoPro rider and passenger seats remain up to 25°C cooler in direct summer sunlight than conventional seat materials.

Because rider and passenger needs differ, BMW specialist Wunderlich manufactures its AKTIVKOMFORT seats with contours specifically designed for each. The shape and tilt of the intricately crafted seat core support a natural and ergonomically beneficial pelvis position for both riders and passengers.

The clever construction effectively prevents the padding from "bottoming out," ensuring seat pressure is evenly distributed over a larger surface. This significantly reduces pressure points for enhanced comfort. The ergonomic shape of the special foam also relieves pressure on the sensitive tailbone.
