Parmigiano Reggiano “Extra Lunga Vita” is made exclusively with the milk of the Parma2064 cows and aged for 36 months. It is composed of milk, natural calf rennet, and salt. The cheese contains no additives, preservatives, or genetically modified organisms (GMO). It has been a Gold Medal winner at the World Cheese Awards.

Parmigiano-Reggiano "Lunga Vita" is characterized by its high level of digestibility. It is rich proteins, vitamins, and mineral salts, which make it perfect for the diets of newborns, young children, the elderly, and active men and women of all ages. 

It is an intense straw yellow color with a flavor profile that is more intense in comparison to lesser aged cheeses. Its aroma is of milk, butter, cooked vegetables, aromatic herbs, and toasted spices. It pairs well with dried fruits, aromatic honeys, and confections of figs, onions, pears, and nuts. It is excellent grated over pasta or in stuffed pastas. It pairs well with full-bodied red wines and "hoppy" beers rich such as a Double IPA. 

All of our Parmigiano-Reggiano is cut and vacuum packed by Parma2064. It should be stored in the refrigerator and has a shelf life of 6 months.
