An exceptionally well-designed protection bar that reliably protects the cylinders and the entire vehicle from damage. With over 100,000 kilometres of experience with this design, we rightfully offer what is likely the most refined GS protection bar series. A total of six mounting points securely absorb all forces, ensuring that the protection bar only absorbs kinetic energy without damaging other components. The cross connection also ensures that the opposing mounting points contribute significantly to protecting the vehicle in the event of a fall.

Particularly important is the rear-facing valve cover protection, which has saved us from serious engine damage on four occasions. The protection bar enhances off-road capability, allowing you to navigate deep ruts or worn-out curves safely.

The protection bars form a cohesive unit with the BMW R 1200 GS cylinders and headers, so they are not perceived as foreign objects.
