Antique late Victorian wool bathing costume with white piping, blouson-style bodice and hidden buttons in the front.  Would have originally been worn with matching bloomers or tights.

Condition

Fair, with several holes throughout.  The most notable is I the bodice just above the waistband - it is very visible if you pull up the fabric, however due the blouson style, it gets somewhat hidden in the folds (see images).  There are some holes at the hemline on the back of the skirt (see images) and large, visible hand stitching at the waistline.  Lastly there is some color bleed on the white piping, most notably at the sleeve cuff.  Presents well, and price adjusted accordingly.
