This is a gorgeous 1950s gold satin cocktail-length formal dress with elements reminiscent of House of Worth style late Victorian draping. It has short sleeves and a low round neckline. The front of the bodice is pleated at one side. The skirt is pleated at the rear and draped around to the front. It is attached to a stiffener underneath. The bodice is lined in cotton. It closes with a metal zipper at the centre back.

Waist: 26 in. (66 cm)
Length: 42 in. (106.5 cm)

CONDITION: As-is. The paper underskirt and stiffener has disintegrated. There are also small stains on the satin throughout and one larger stain on the skirt hem.
