Check the flange surfaces for debris or casting flash before assembly. Light cleanup with a wire brush is typical — no machining required if surfaces are clean.

Will this fit my current exhaust piping and downpipe setup?

Mounting flange is standard 1.8T configuration. Your existing downpipe bolts directly on if it's designed for this platform; verify turbo flange alignment before final tightening.
