A nice example of an original 1920s cream and silver metal Assuit with geometric design. 

Purchased privately from a local estate, along with various other antique textiles which have been carefully stored for decades, wrapped in tissue and neatly boxed. The condition of the items reflects the care that was taken in putting them away - a lesson for us all!

Condition: 

Generally very clean and undamaged, no obvious tarnish to silver metal. Of all the assists I’ve had it’s pretty good. 

I just noticed some minimal age spotting when held to the light. One small bump in the fabric which I can’t decide is a single stitch repair or manufacturing flaw, and there is approximately 4 inches of stitching missing to the hand rolled him as shown.
