The fan itself is a standalone assembly. You'll need to wire it to a thermostat switch or relay to trigger it at your target coolant temperature—most builders use an adjustable electric switch for full control.

What amperage and wire gauge should I run?

Check the motor specs on the fan itself for current draw, then size your wire and breaker accordingly. Most electric fans pull 15–30 amps; don't undersize the circuit or you'll cook the motor.

Can I use this in a pusher or puller setup?

This is built as a puller fan—it draws air through the radiator. Mounting orientation matters; install it behind the radiator for proper flow, not in front.
