Will this manifold work with my current turbocharger?

This manifold is designed to bolt directly to the standard 1.8T turbo housing. Verify your turbo type before ordering — some upgraded turbos may require adapter work.

Do I need to replace gaskets and seals during installation?

Yes. Plan to replace all gaskets between the manifold and engine block, plus the turbo inlet seal. Reusing old gaskets is a common source of boost leaks.

Does this need to be painted or ceramic-coated?

It ships bare stainless. You can run it as-is or coat it for aesthetics — stainless doesn't require prep before paint or ceramic coating if you choose to add either.
