From my personal collection is this gorgeous 1950s Alfred Shaheen black velvet jacket/blouse with matching slim pants.

Cotton velvet jacket features metallic gold lame piping around the collar, both sides of the front, bottom and sleeve ends as pictured.

Does up the center front with five black velvet covered buttons. Below the elbow length sleeves.

The jacket is lined with medium weight black cotton.

The matching ankle length pants feature a high waist (3/4" wide waistband), center back metal zipper. slim cut legs and metallic gold lame trim around the bottom of the leg opening and curved leg vents on the outer leg seam.

The pants are unlined.

DESIGNER LABEL: Alfred Shaheen Hawaii / There is also an Amalgamated Clothing Workers union tag as pictured.

CONDITION: Excellent ~ There are no odors, discoloration, fading, snags, holes, stains, rips, missing or dull piping, or other issues.

SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Extra Small to Small.
