When adding more modifications to your car such as upgraded exhaust components, injectors, intakes, basically anything else that increases horsepower, then it is wise to add a larger top mount intercooler. However just because an intercooler is larger, it does not mean that it will be more effective. Process West has put forth rigorous design and testing methods to achieve an intercooler perfect in design to deliver power, performance, and effective cooling results.

Process West designed this Top mount Intercooler to make the most out of the incoming ambient air-flow, and designed their top mount intercooler to be 3.5" thick to allow the intercooler to breathe, and provide lower outlet temperatures which creates more power.

Additional design features include the turbo compressor outlet to intercooler y-pipe design. Process West designed their Y-pipe to provide an even distribution of airflow to provide a smooth transition in air delivery without too much turbulence or interference. Process West then dyno tested this design and saw a fair increase in both horsepower and torque. A drop in peak temperatures.

Included in this kit is the top mount intercooler core, Y-pipe, coupler, a coupler of worm clamps, as well as an extended line for your PCV system.
