The Coastal Short (based on our Linen Short) is a great warm weather and travel/vacation garment. It has large, front, inseam pockets that are functional and unique with their scooped shape.

This project is rated at intermediate difficulty, but is suitable for a patient and confident beginner. This style requires understitching, in-seam pocket construction, and an elastic waistband. Through the recreating of this style you will gain confidence in very practical sewing skills that can be applied to creating a variety of wardrobe staples.
