I love this! Labelled a vintage 40, it’s quite loose fit. No front closures as designed to be worn open. 
Drop shoulders and big gathered sleeves. Gathered yoke and cuffed sleeves. Nice big collar but not overly 70s in shape. Fabric is quite weighty and structured, almost a canvas weight. Natural/unbleached calico material.

Condition:  I washed but didn’t soak, and just noticed that there is some shades of slight age yellowing in places when you look closely. Its from hanging in storage as opposed to wear - from memory this was old shop stock. It’s so voluminous I don’t think it’s an issue - you can safely handwash/soak and has machine wash label (sadly no makers). Otherwise vgc.
