Vintage 50s Cashmere Cardigan Sweater Marshall Fields

Soft, collarless, fitted cardigan by Ballantyne of Peebles, which was sold through the upscale US department store Marshall Field & Co. Features a black body with tan or light brown trim on the rounded neckline, button placket, cuffs, and hem, consistent with vintage "framed" or "bound" cardigan designs from that era. Three-quarters length sleeves. Unlined.
