Not particularly seasonal but I think we can all do with something cheerful!

Original late 20s fine silk chiffon dress, cut on the bias with handkerchief hem and self fabric rosette to hip. Dropped waist and full length sleeves. Over the head style, there are no fastenings. The sleeves have studs to narrow the fit at the wrist. 

Comes complete with matching silk neck scarf, headscarf or belt – however you wish to utilise it!

The skirt is fabulous, dipping to either side with. No labels, home or custom made but well done. Not many of these left now undamaged! No slip but a plain ivory one would do, wouldn’t need to be yellow.

Waist 30 but bias cut drapes to fit

Hips 36”

Length from nape to hem approx 47” in centre and 52” at longest point of hem at side 

The matching scarf is 9” wide, and has pointed ends - longest measurement is 58”

Condition: 

Good, generally structurally sound and wearable with caution - it’s very delicate material so please bear in mind fit so as not to stress it. 

There are a few small holes to the chiffon at the cuff area and one to the back lower skirt as shown. One cuff is missing a snap, and there is some missing thread to the seam on the sleeve for an inch as shown, but it is not open. Scarf appears very good.

Aside from this there are just some age marks to the chiffon, and one darker mark by the rosette – this dress has come straight from my ‘in’ rail, I have not attempted to clean so these may lift if you’re feeling brave. Selling as it came.
