Rich blue velvet deco dress, trimmed in a dusky pink satin - not sure if this is a later addition but fabric appears vintage. This is very much home made, and although it shows it’s age a little is still completely wearable, with a few minor flaws.

No ice is asymmetrically styled, and is the means of entry: the front crossover panel fastens with the concealed snaps beneath the decorative buckle, to the left side.

It is a nice early velvet, with a silk velvet shine. There are seams to add shape at elbow and shoulders - it’s a great cut. 

It does have a couple of minor flaws, aside from its fairly pedestrian level of construction – please see below. Has been cleaned and is ready to wear as it is. 

Measures: 

Bust 38” including darts (36 max bra band?)

Waist 30” max

Hips 38”

Length from nape to hem approx 48”

Underarm to cuff 17”

Condition: 

There is a slightly dark mark or stain to the skirt – please see photos. Not too bad but definitely there!

There appears to have been a hole ‘seamed out’, in the back of the skirt. Because of the sheen of the velvet this is hard to spot but again, please see photographs.
