Vintage 1920s rayon silk flapper dress in a beautiful emerald green.  This dress is full of 20s details from embroidered Art Deco trim, drop waist, decorative pleats and a bow embellishment.

*Please leave extra room as there are no closures for getting into the dress (pull over head only).  Dress should be worn loosely and is best suited for a size small.  Refer to shoulder size.

Condition

Fair, with some flaws to note.  There is a faint yellow spot on the silk insert near the decretive buttons (see image).  It is somewhat tucked behind the embroidered trim, so it is not fully visible during wear.  There is also some light fraying at the very top edge of the silk insert where the neckline meets the shoulder.

There is a faint bit of swirling color fade along the shoulders and upper back (see image).  There is also three small spots under the decorative belt on the backside (see images).

There is thinning of the fabric around the upper shoulders and around the backside of the neckline.  Weak spots and thinned spots have been patched from behind for reinforcement (see last image), but the garment should be worn with care.

This gem of a piece has been price adjusted to account for flaws, but still presents well!
