Can I bolt this directly to my engine, or does it need welding?

Does this manifold ship primed or painted?

It ships as raw stainless steel. Since stainless resists rust on its own, many builders leave it bare. If you want color, ceramic coating or high-temp paint can be applied after a light scuff with fine grit.
