It's smart to empty most of the fluid before removing the old pump—saves cleanup. Once the pump is swapped, refill and test both nozzles before calling it done.

What if the pump doesn't spray after I install it?

First check that the hoses are seated firmly on the barbs and not kinked. If spray is still weak, run the washer system for 10–15 seconds to purge any air from the lines. If neither works, the pump may have arrived defective—contact support with photos of your install.
