How stunning is this vintage dress from the 1930s!! The pattern is beautiful and its in a versatile blue and white colour. The pattern is a checkered and its seen throughout the entire dress, except for the built in sash. The dress features balloon sleeves that end in an elastic. It also has a smocked detail on the shoulders which help balance out the sleeves. The dress is a V neck with a slight collar that is created by the longer straps that go at the back of the dress, mimicking a capelet. The dress has a small hook and eye on the back of the neck and snaps going  along the side. There is also a built in interior closure that is smaller than the rest of the dress (please see measurements). This dress is gorgeous and ready to go to its new home!

CONDITION: Excellent !!  With a few flaws to note: 
- The original hem has been let out, this could be put back or left as is. 
- One of the points on the sash is unfinished, 
- There are a couple of pulled seams near the collar 
- Slight yellowing on some of the white areas of the pattern, So faint the camera doesn't pick it up. 
- Elastic on arms is a bit wear , but still stretchy 
- One Brown/yellow stain on the front near the middle of the skirt

- Waist: 24" (Interior waist only opens to 31" MAX, this should fit over your head/shoulders) 
- Length (measured from shoulder): 48"
- Sleeve Length: 19.5"
- Hips: 40"
