Do I need to remove the bumper to install these?

Access from inside the bed is possible, but removing the rear bumper cover makes installation cleaner and faster. Most installs take under an hour either way.

What if one bulb burns out?

LED units are sealed assemblies — the entire housing is replaced if internal components fail. Individual bulbs cannot be swapped.
