Extension cable for converting a BMW Professional OEM Sat Nav or a Land Rover High Line and Basic OEM HU, each with a DSP OEM amplified system, to a universal retrofit HU.

The extension cable makes it possible to move the device connection from the BMW OEM tuner silver box in the boot to the front in the radio slot.

The active system Amp bypass adapter is used to connect the OEM speakers of the OEM amplified systems directly to the retrofit HU by bypassing the OEM amplifier.

yellow/blue: +12V reverse gear

The front and rear speaker outputs of the retrofit HU are used.

Depending on the vehicle and the installed OEM amplified system various speakers such as a centre or subwoofer may be omitted and must be operated via an additionally installed power amplifier.
 
Check the impedance and phase of the OEM speakers before installation.
