Fabric Write Up :

Jamdani is a traditional weave of West Bengal. It is a time-consuming and labor-intensive form of weaving because of the richness of its motifs, which are created directly on the loom using the discontinuous weft technique. The jamdani which we have used has our signature Bindi motif woven on it, which makes it even more exclusive.

The process of creating khesh involves meticulous craftsmanship. Weavers begin by selecting vibrant and contrasting colors for the warp and recycled saree strips for the weft. The saree strips are torn into thin, uniform threads, adding a rustic charm to the sustainable fabric. The interplay of colors and textures during the weaving process results in a fabric that is both visually striking and environmentally responsible.
