Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil

Apricot Kernel Oil is made from the apricot kernel, which is a good source of vitamins A and E plus it contains essential fatty acids. It is excellent for moisturizing and nourishing mature, dry and sensitive skins as it is easily absorbed.

Macadamia Oil

The golden yellow oil coming from the Macadamia nut, a native Australian nut. Similar to other plant oils, it's loaded with emollient and nourishing fatty acids. It's a high oleic acid oil that makes ideal for dry skin types. Its unique property is that it contains high amounts of a rare fatty acid called palmitoleic acid.

Phospholipid

Phospholipids are types of lipids (fats) composed of glycerol, fatty acids, and phosphate. Phospholipids in skin care have value for numerous reasons– chief among them is that they are hygroscopic, meaning they pull in water from surrounding air and hold it where more hydration is needed. Research also shows that phospholipids have antioxidant properties and be effective in helping deliver other ingredients more effective to skin in cosmetics.

Squalane

Naturally occurring hydrocarbon component of olive oil. Squalane protects the skin against moisture loss, makes it so and smooth and improves the structure of the skin’s natural lipid barrier.

Tocopheryl Acetate

Vitamin E Acetate or Tocopheryl Acetate is a strong antioxidant (free radical scavenger). It helps to protect cell components from premature changes and supports the formation of new cells. Vitamin E Acetate also has UV-protecting and inflammation reducing properties.

Fomes Officinalis Extract

A purified, concentrated active, extracted from the pulp of Fomes officinalis, a basidiomycete mushroom that grows in eastern Europe and is harvested in Russia. It has astringent, pore tightening and moisturizing effects on the skin.

Urea

Urea is produced naturally by the skin and is part of the essential Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) which regulates skin’s moisture content. Urea is hygroscopic, which means it is able to bind moisture into the outermost layer of skin. It is also keratolytic, meaning it breaks down the connections between dead skin cells, and has anti-itch and anti-microbial properties. As a result, it improves natural exfoliation and soothes and smoothes the skin’s surface. As a substance produced naturally by the skin, Urea is well-tolerated for even the most sensitive skin.

Hydrolyzed Silk

Conditioning additive for all types of skin and hair products. Gives a luxurious, smooth sheen to hair and leaves skin with a silky after-feel.. Derived from pure silk. Forms a protective film on the hair and skin and is particularly recommend for dry and damaged conditions where it exhibits moisture retaining properties.
