The Melbisch Lake Music Festival is held every summer in Melbisch am See, Austria. As the name suggests, the festival is a "summer event" where Viennese operettas, Offenbach's works, and Broadway musicals translated into German are performed on a stage set up on Lake Neusiedl. In 1993, baritone Harald Serafin (who also performs in this set) was appointed general director, and he has served as conductor and music director of the festival since then.
