Tasting Notes: Fiano is an Italian variety that is ideally suited to making an aromatic and textured wine. In order to capture the essence of this variety we wanted to do the least amount to it. This small batch Fiano is sourced from 8 year old vines in Mount Barker. the wine has a pale, lemon hue with great clarity. One the nose this wine is generous with notes of ripe apple, pear, honeysuckle and quince paste. There is fresh lemon blossom and hints of ginger nut biscuit. On the palate the wine feels weightier and fuller than previous vintages which can be attributed to the riper picking window and time spent in barrel. The wine is beautifully balanced between a soft, lush texture, lightly drying acidity and its lingering salty finish.

Serving Temperature: Best served lightly chilled, typically 8–10°C, which aligns with standard service for aromatic, textural white wines.
