One of my favourites! Beautiful honeysuckle was flower headdress with silver lamé ribbons, complete with original fine tambour embroidered silk tulle veil attached.

Measures: 

Headdress approx 18” not including elastic.

veil top ‘tier’ 35” crown to pointed end

front edge of veil crown to hem 62”

length of full veil from crown to back hem point 106” 

Condition: 

Remarkably good given age! A couple of breaks in the veiling, it’s very delicate due to age and composition but can still be repositioned without breakage. There is some age spotting but it’s not too much of a contrast. Lamé has darkened with age as usual.

The wax flowers are all pretty much intact, and I love the fact the green stamens are still vibrant. As mentioned above elastic would need replacing.
